Most conifers are evergreen but a few are deciduous and have beautiful fall foliage. This is a pleasant surprise to most gardeners.

Bald Cypress knees in the water serve to exchange air into the roots, otherwise the tree couldn’t survive in the water saturated soil.

Larch (Larix laricena ‘Blue Sparkler’)

Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba ‘Autumn Gold’) It looks like a broadleaf tree but it is a deciduous Gymnosperm.
