Winter Beauty in Bark

In the Spring, Summer and Fall most people pay little attention to the bark of trees. But during the winter the bark is more noticeable because of the lack of foliage to hide it. These photos were taken at Dawn Gardens in Grass Valley, CA during February of 2018.
