Few flowers are blooming in the fall but the ones that are blooming are highly valued. But they must compete with the fall foliage color.

Copper Canyon Daisy (Taygetes lemmonii) blooms November and December.




Russian Sunflower (Helianthus angustfolius) blooms October through the middle of November.

California Fuchsia (Zauschneria californica) (New name is Epilobium) Blooms September through November.

Here are a couple of flowers that bloom in the summer but they are still blooming now, November 28:
Gloriosa Daisy (Rudbeckia hirta) has been blooming since July. It was a seedling from other plants growing in the same area. It tolerates heat and full sun.
I have several groundcover roses that are still blooming. It will be time to prune them soon.
Common Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) is a bulb that is starting to bloom in November.
