The Station

The Station Public House is an outdoor restaurant in Auburn, California maintained by Dawn Landscaping. It was opened in 2020 and because of COVID it was the only restaurant allowed to be open in Auburn for several months since it was an outdoor restaurant.

Tulips and purple Primula obconica

We try to keep flowers in the beds blooming year around.

Primroses, Violas, Tulips, Daffodils and Grape Hyacinths are the favorites for Spring.

Cyclamen are in the pot.

Zinnias, Lantana, Nepeta, Yarrow and Vinca are the best for tolerating summer heat.

Butterfly Bush (Buddleja davidii ‘Buzz Purple’) is colorful in late summer and fall.

Impatiens New Guinea Hybrids are great for the summer in shadier areas.

The common hop (Humulis lupulus), from which beer is made, is growing on trellises along the back brick wall.

Before garden construction

After construction June, 2020. Bocce ball court was removed later to make room for more tables.

A mist system was installed for hot summer afternoons.

The address of the Station Public House is 750 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. It is open 11:00 – 8:00 Tues. – Sun.

On weekends there are musicians and artists performing on the stage:
